Henderson County Chamber of Commerce

Henderson County Chamber of Commerce moved into their renovated building early in 2009; ahead of schedule and under the Architect's construction estimate.  The building was an old existing metal building which was completely renovated internally as well as externally.  Interior spaces include Administrative Offices and large divisible Multi-Purpose Room.  The design allows for outside use without violating the private office spaces.  Building exterior was changed from metal skin and low-slope roof to brick and stucco with mansard roof wrapping around the entire exterior.  Design was intended to blend with previous mixed-use building development in the area and portray the Chamber's identity.  A south facing terrace affords entrance to the Multi-Purpose space, and a north side Front Entry Porch and feature Tower articulate planar building facades.  Flags along the east, street side represent nationalities with industrial plants operating in Henderson County.
